Designing an Ascend board starts from the water. Every shape begins as a raw foam blank, shaped and improved through testing under Noah’s feet. If a rail lacks hold in a steep section, it gets reshaped. If a nose catches water on a recovery, the entry rocker gets lifted. If a tail fails to release clean off the wake, the single-to-double concave down the centerline gets reworked. Prototype after prototype is ridden, beaten up and dialed.
